About Kirtley Cameron Design

Kirtley Cameron Design offers residential design services with a focus on historic preservation.  Projects are predominantly in and around Bedford, New York and Newport, Rhode Island.  Kirtley is active in local Preservation, serving on the Bedford Village Historic District Review Commission, and as past President of the Board of Directors of the Bedford Historical Society.  She is also dedicated to education, serving as the Chair of the Board of Trustees of Rippowam Cisqua School in Bedford, NY, as a Trustee of Middlebury College and a past Trustee of St. Michael's Country Day School in Newport, RI.  She is also a member of the Board of Directors and School's Task Force of Bedford 2020.

She earned her Masters in Architecture from Columbia Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation.  She has a B.A. from Middlebury College and worked in the art auction business at Sotheby's New York and London for seven years prior to dedicating herself to design full time.  The firm is based in Bedford, NY, where Kirtley lives with her husband and three daughters.
